Happy Heart Day!
Valentine Cake Sales
This fundraiser is for the Leaders Education Fund which pays for 4-H Leaders to attend trainings, Shooting Sports, Leaders Forum, Rec Lab, etc. Members bake decorate and donate cakes that are sold for $10. We ask that each bring a minimum of 5 cakes to the Extension Office on Friday, Feb. 11 or on Sunday the 13th between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. More cakes are welcome, we have not trouble selling 70-75 cakes and if we have extra we give them as a thank you to local businesses that support 4-H.
Valentine Cake Delivery’s
If you are free Monday morning at 9:00 AM, your help delivering cakes in Lewistown, would be much appreciated! One or two hours, the more volunteers we have the less time it takes. Please let Jennifer know if you would be willing. 406-535-3919
Chokecherry Jam Meeting
Tuesday, February 8, noon at the Extension Office. If you would like to help plan and organize the 2022 Chokecherry Jam Street Dance, please attend this meeting.
State 4-H Award Workshop
Sunday, February 13, 1:00 PM, basement of the Sheriffs Complex.
Winners of State 4-H Awards attend National 4-H Congress in Atlanta. Members 14 and older may apply in any project area, leadership, or community service. This workshop will help you understand the application process and how to start building your resume to be a successful applicant. Anyone fourteen and older plus, twelve and thirteen year old’s that have this as a goal in their future, should attend.
All members 12 and older are invited to participate
All sessions begin at 2:30 PM and finish by 4 PM
All sessions are led by the Montana 4-H Ambassador Team
Virtual Option- a zoom link will be emailed to the Extension Office each month and we will forward it to all members in this age group.
In Person- We will meet at the Sheriffs Complex (Basement) and enjoy snacks during the presentation. Please arrive by 2:20 so we can everyone settled when the session begins.

Food Booth Committee Meeting
Thursday, Feb. 17, 5:30, Extension Office
We will go over last year and discuss changes and improvements. We will talk about the maintenance day and any work that needs to be done on the booth.
Camp Counselors Applications Open
If you are 14 or older you may apply to be a camp counselor. If you are 13 or older you may apply to be a counselors assistant. Applications are enclosed and due Feb. 18. If you are selected to be a counselor, training is required, on March 6th at 1:00 PM.
Cloverbud Day Camp Planning

If you would like to help plan and put on the Cloverbud Day Camp in June, please attend. All members 12 and older are welcome, along with parents.
